  3. Guess what I discovered

I found pintrest so now I’m becoming addicted to crafting. Just sprayed the rail for my jewellery and will be putting it up this afternoon.
Recycling the old laundry basket and reorganising the dressing room. I might add some crafty picks later.

  7. So I’ve been a little naughty

Well I’ve been off with depression and stress for 3 weeks, and I’ve had a few tough weeks.

First I got bit by a dog, had to take 2 lots of antibiotics and had a tetanus jab which left me feeling rather ill. Then I had to take my dogs to the vets antibiotics for them followed. The antibiotic given to my german shepherd brought out an infection in her womb which we didn’t know she had, we had to rush her to the vets for tests to see if it was caught early enough. Luckily it was and she had to have an emergency op to remove her womb etc. She has now been on antibiotics for 2 weeks, she had her last trip to the vet this morning and my hubby just called to say, all good vet is really happy. On the down side it appears my brave dog has become petrified of the vets and was shaking the whole time.

So then trying to a responsible pet owner I get my kitten Rosealie spayed on monday. I know it’s the best thing to do but I felt awful seeing her in pain, I’ve kept an eye on her every day and she seems to be doing well and the vets concur, next week she has her stitches out, then get chipped so she can finally play outside.

My husband had to move jobs as they lost the contract so yet again changed shifts.

You can imagine that through all this I did not see me as a priority and as such have been coping on one high carb meal usually at lunch time, with fruit and youghurt or a chocolate bar if I got hungry later on. On the positive I have lost a total of 11lb in the last 2 weeks, I’m estatic and really noticed the difference my concern is that I can’t keep this up and the weight will go back on, so I need to move to a high protien diet.

Also something else annoyed I’ve developed a rash on my chest, it itches like mad, but there’s nothing I can do, I had it last year and my doc said it’s a heat rash and will go on its own. I hate it, it looks bad and drives me mad. Off to walk my doggies in a mo so will have to ice the rash when I get back. :(

  9. what happened to the weather?

So last week I was relaxing in the garden daily with a book, sitting in the warm sunshine trying to get a bit of colour and work on overcoming the prickly heat that I get every time I’m in the sun.

We were gardening and planting seeds for veg this summer here is my hubby and Kendra trying to imitate my new Buddha statue, with the plants we brought at the market for the garden.

I even had a whole bunch of Ladybirds hanging out in the garden.

Then today there has been gale force winds, icy cold rain and snow. Walking the dogs I got soaked, walking to counselling I got soaked, I have plans for the weekend so I hope this doesn’t continue.
